Matter in Tension: Between the Lines
Secured in scrap wood, bandsaw blades cast shadows and interact with their surrounding painted surfaces, becoming gestural line drawings. As I navigate the potential danger and tension inherent in the blades, this work addresses my desire to live fully in an uncertain world. Each piece is an exercise in maintaining and releasing control.
